I’m an Attorney-at-Law licensed to practice in both Jamaica (2012) and New York (2015). I hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons.) from the University of the West Indies (2010), a Legal Education Certificate (LEC) from the Norman Manley Law School (2012) and a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property from George Washington University (2014). I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information & Knowledge Strategy (with a focus on data analytics & AI) at the Columbia University (Dec 2025).
I am an Intellectual Property I am a Certified Privacy Professional (CIPP/US/E/C), a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and a Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) who has worked with technology start-ups, web-based companies and small businesses to conduct privacy impact assessments; build and maintain their privacy programs; and create data breach incident plans.
I am currently the Group Head of Privacy, AI & Data Governance at a leading regional telecommunications provider in the Caribbean. My work has included stints at the United Nations, the George Washington University’s Finance Division & J. Wray and Nephew Limited (a subsidiary of the Campari Group). I’m also a Director for the Caribbean’s first full service eBook platform, BookFusion, the brainchild and genius execution of my husband Dwayne Campbell.
I became a Blockchain Enthusiast after a convincing conversion by a bitcoin early adopter in 2011. Since then, I’ve worked with blockchain-based start-ups on their intellectual property strategy and protection and I’ve consulted on blockchain research projects.
